The Chrome Illusion Table

I recently took on the task of clearing out my garage and I’ve done pretty well to rid heaps of junk that have built up over the years. Junk that everybody thinks ‘I’ll use this one day’, or ‘the second I throw this away, I’ll need it’. This of course is often the case, but sometimes you simply HAVE to throw things away to maintain a healthy state of mind (and free up some space for future hoarding). That of course is never easy with things that hold a lot of sentimental value (We’ve all been there).

So after digging deep into the depths of our dusty past, I discovered a full dining table set that used to belong to my ‘Scouse’ Nan before she passed away. This very table was used by my Dad when he was a kid and holds a lot of memories from yesteryear. So much so that he’s overly reluctant to throw away something that his mum paid so much for back in the day. He’s tried to sell it in the past but there was no real interest at all, so it really has just been rotting away in the garage for the past 2-3 years. A real shame. This is why Myself, Ryan & Beth decided to do what we do best and turn it into a project. A project that would potentially rejuvenate such an old piece of furniture and breathe new life into it for many years to come. To be used as a conference table for a local company we owe an awful lot to, this is the Chrome Illusion Table …
